The
Heim Bros. Story:
Heim Bros. founder, Bill Heim first started a tree company in 1948
("West Coast Tree Experts") which then changed names to
" Heim Bros. Inc." in 1950 when his brother Joe joined
forces. For the next 35 years Joe and Bill Heim created a solid
demolition and land clearing service, which steadily gathered an
increasing number of contractors who depended on Heim Bros. "
on time service". Bill and Jackie Heim retired at this time
to a ranch in the Sierra foothills.
In 1984 Joe Heim left the company and Bills three sons Mike, John,
and Tom took over management of Heim Bros. Inc. in 1986 Mike Heim
left to pursue a career in the communications field. This left John
and Tom Heim in charge of Heim Bros. Inc. for the next 8 years.
In 1994 Tom Heim tragically died in a skiing accident leaving John
Heim as sole owner of Heim Bros. Inc.
In 1997 John sister Judy and her husband Jim joined and in 1998
sister Sue also joined Heim Bros. Inc. Then in 2000 Mike Heim returned
to make it five full-time family members working today at Heim Bros.
Inc.
Recently Sister Linda Lillard and daughter Christine as well as
nephew Nick Reid have been working summers 'busy season'. |
